Coach Arnold has been part of the Granite Bay Girls Flag Football program since its inception, helping launch the program alongside founders Coach Sartz and Coach Dickson. From day one, his passion has been building a competitive culture where athletes are challenged to become the best versions of themselves—both on and off the field.

Known for his enthusiasm, energy, and competitive spirit, Coach Arnold believes that success is measured by more than wins and losses. His goal is to develop confident leaders, resilient teammates, and young women who carry the lessons learned on the field into every area of life.

Under the Granite Bay coaching staff, numerous players have gone on to continue their flag football careers at the collegiate level, a testament to the program's commitment to player development.

Above all, Coach Arnold believes football should be fun. He strives to create an environment where hard work, accountability, and competition are balanced with joy, relationships, and unforgettable memories. His vision is to build a championship program while helping every player leave Granite Bay stronger, more confident, and ready for whatever comes next.

Coach Dickson has been an active and dedicated member of the Granite Bay Football program since the school's inception, serving as a parent, Touchdown Club board member, program benefactor, and coach. A former wide receiver at both the high school and collegiate levels, Coach Dickson has maintained a lifelong passion for athletics and mentoring young athletes.

Although retired, Coach Dickson remains actively involved in business through contract work with the medical company in which he is an equity partner. His work focuses on supporting the U.S. military, with a primary emphasis on the U.S. Special Operations community.

In 2023, Coach Dickson joined Coach Sartz and the Granite Bay coaching staff for the inaugural varsity flag football season, bringing his experience, enthusiasm, and commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

When he's not coaching, Coach Dickson enjoys cooking, working out, attending sporting events, and spending time with his family. His greatest joy comes from being with his granddaughter, Molly, and grandson, Memphis.

Coach Dallas Sartz is the founder of Granite Bay High School’s Girls Flag Football program and has been instrumental in building it into one of the premier programs in the region. His passion for the game, attention to detail, and relentless competitive spirit have helped establish a culture of excellence from day one.

A Granite Bay High School Hall of Fame inaugural inductee, Coach Sartz enjoyed one of the most decorated athletic careers in school history before continuing his football career at USC, where he served as a two-time team captain and helped lead the Trojans to a National Championship.

With coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels, Coach Sartz brings an elite football mind and a deep understanding of player development. His commitment to teaching the game, challenging athletes to reach their potential, and genuinely caring for every player has made him an invaluable leader within the program.

Coach Rhodes enters his 2nd season as a Varsity Assistant Coach, and is excited to work towards another SFL title. He was a 3 sport athlete at Granite Bay HS, but focused primarily on football, where he was All-SFL and All-Sacramento Wide Receiver in 2009. He went on to play Wide Receiver at UC Davis.

For work, Coach Rhodes has been a Firefighter/Paramedic with Sac Metropolitan Fire District for the past 7 years. He and his wife have two children at home, Zealand (2 y/o) and Noa (2 months). When not at working, or coaching, he enjoys playing Sand Volleyball or pickup Basketball.

Coach Brines enters his second season as the JV Girls Flag Football Coach with a passion for developing student athletes both on and off the field. After a successful inaugural season, Coach Brines and his staff are focused on continuing to build a program centered on fun, teamwork, personal growth, athletic development, and competitive excellence.

Coach Brines believes sports provide valuable life lessons in leadership, accountability, resilience, and confidence. His goal is to create an environment where every player feels supported, challenged, and empowered to reach her full potential while competing at a high level.

When not coaching, Coach Brines works in mergers and acquisitions and enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball and tennis, and supporting youth sports in the community. He and his wife have two daughters, ages 11 and 8, who are regular fixtures on the sidelines and can often be found cheering on the team throughout the season.

Coach Adamson brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence to the staff. With a traditional tackle football background, he competed collegiately at UC Davis and extended his playing career professionally overseas in Germany.

In addition to his tackle experience, Coach Joe has over 30 years of involvement in all formats of flag football. He has competed and won at the highest level on large national tours such as the NFL and Nike Air It Out, Let It Fly, and NIRSA, as well as being a member of Team USA for six years, serving as team captain for two of those seasons. His career includes international competition in 14 countries and two Flag Football World Cup championships.

Over the past three years, Coach Joe has transitioned his expertise into coaching and training, working with several Northern California club teams and spending two years coaching at Cavitt Junior High School. His passion for player development and understanding of the game make him a valuable addition to the program.
